Environmentally and sanitationally sound management of waste has been among the environmental issues of major concern in maintaining the quality of the country's environment. Waste management projects combine experience, knowledge, and management expertise. Environmental Engineering

ASDECON has applied its expertise in the three major fields of environmental engineering namely wastewater treatment, solid waste and hazardous waste management and waterworks development.

Wastewater management: the company was initially assigned by the Department of Public Works and Town & Country Planning to conduct a feasibility study for the flood control, drainage and sewerage in several sensitive areas such as Nonthaburi Municipality , Pak Kret Sub-district Municipality , Cha Am Sub-district Municipality in Phetchaburi Province , Koh Samui in Surat Thani Province , western Phuket and Rayong Municipality . In 1992, the company further conducted the survey for detailed design and supervised construction until completion in 1998. In addition, ASDECON provided services for study, planning, survey, design and construction supervision for many wastewater treatment projects of both public and private organizations.

Solid Waste: ASDECON first expanded to the field of solid waste and hazardous waste management in 1992. The company then conducted a feasibility study and survey for detailed design for the projects on municipal waste treatment in tourist havens such as Cha Am and Hua Hin. It was later entrusted with municipal waste treatment in many provinces, construction of waste treatment centres on the eastern coast and across the country, treatment of contaminated run-off and underground water at landfills in the south and west, landfills for industrial waste, monitoring and evaluation of waste management carried out by 72 local administrative organizations, formulation of the master plan for waste treatment in Songkhla Lake Basin, solid waste and hazardous waste management in Bangkok Port, Laem Chabang Port and Map Ta Phut Port. In its twentieth year of operation, ASDECON has been entrusted with the design of an integrated waste treatment centre in Nakhon Sawan Municipality .

Waterworks are associated with public health and can influence people's quality of life. ASDECON was engaged in waterworks improvement and development in 124 sub-municipalities across Thailand, waterworks in Chalung Industrial Estate, installation of the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority's distribution system, provision of sanitary water supply in the western vicinity of Bangkok and pump installation and construction of a distribution tunnel and water treatment plant in Bang Khen. In 2009, the company is involved in the enhancement of pipe water productivity at Bang Khen and Maha Sawat water plants as well as the development of small-scale waterworks for various industrial estates and real estate development projects.
